Tempus Public Foundation (Tempus Közalapítvány)

Tempus Public Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1996 by the Hungarian Government, with the task of managing international cooperation programmes and special projects in the field of education, training and EU-related issues. TPF manages the national and international education and training programmes (Lifelong Learning Programme, Pestalozzi Programme, CEEPUS), supports initiatives aiming at the modernization and quality improvement of education, training, RTD and human resources development, encourages international cooperation and mobility, strengthens the European dimension in these fields and provides trainings on how to use EU grants. It also operates as a knowledge centre.

Mobilitás National Youth Service (Mobilitás Országos Ifjúsági Szolgálat)

Mobilitás National Youth Service, established in 1995, is the innovation and competence centre of Hungarian youth work and services.
Mobilitás National Youth Service aims at fostering democratic and active citizenship of young people, promoting the recognition of youth work and non-formal learning and supporting the professional development of youth work. It is a decentralised organisation operating with 9 locations. Its regional tasks are carried out by the network of Regional Youth Service Offices.

Europass

In each EU and EEA countries the national Europass Centre coordinates the activities related the Europass documents. The Europass documents give a framework to make skills, language competencies and qualifications clearly and easily understood all over Europe.

EURES

Set up in 1993, EURES is a co-operation network between the European Commission and the Public Employment Services of the EEA Member States (The EU countries plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) and other partner organizations. Switzerland also takes part in EURES co-operation. The joint resources of the EURES member and partner organizations provide a solid basis for the EURES network to offer high quality services for both workers and employers. The purpose of EURES is to provide information, advice and recruitment/placement (job-matching) services for the benefit of workers and employers as well as any citizen wishing to benefit from the principle of the free movement of persons. The Hungarian EURES centres operate within the framework of the National Employment Service (Nemzeti Foglalkoztatási Szolgálat).

EURYDICE

EURYDICE is the information network on education systems and policies in Europe, launched by the European Commission with the aim of supporting cooperation between the member states in the field of lifelong learning. The network is based in Brussels and consists of 35 national units in 31 countries. EURYDICE is responsible for making comparative studies, collecting and disseminating information on education systems and policies in Europe, thus facilitating decision making and the implementation of education policy. EURYDICE studies are available for all and are downloadable free of charge. The Hungarian EURYDICE National Unit is operated by the Ministry of National Resources.

Euraxess

The EURAXESS Network, supported by the European Commission, aims at providing various services for researchers to facilitate their mobility to a foreign country. EURAXESSJobs is a database on job vacancies and funding opportunities for researchers, EURAXESS Services provide useful information for researchers and their families on administrative issues as well as on settling down abroad. The network is currently present in 35 countries.
