Collecting and disseminating information on learning and training opportunities in the European countries:
Visitors to our websites can find detailed information about:
- the European countries according to the following topics:
education,
the world of labour,
social insurance,
counselling services.
- the national and international training databases,
- information on the Hungarian education system, training opportunities and the conditions of learning in Hungary.
In the library of Euroguidance Hungary you can find information about education, the world of labour, social insurance and the counselling services of the various European countries.
Information on the conditions of mobility and the mutual recognition of qualifications:
- clients can receive information, on our homepage as well as personally and via mail or e-mail, about student and teacher exchange programmes, scholarships, the conditions of moving and learning abroad
Cooperation with other Euroguidance Centres in order to provide quality information:
- a significant part of the international guidance is based on the co-operation of the Euroguidance Network. If a question is related to the education system of training opportunities of a European country, it is published on the common webboard ogf the network and the colleagues of the relevant countries can answer it. Then the responses are forwarded to the clients.
Participation in the national and international events related to career counselling:
- Euroguidance Hungary takes part in national career fairs and similar events. Our colleagues participate in study visits and conferences to collect information on the counselling practice of the member states.
Creation and maintenance of training databases:
- the databases of Hungarian secondary and higher education institutions are available on our website. The databases contain detailed information on the venues of trainings, the dates of entrance exams and the types of learning opportunities.
The database of the European Commission - PLOTEUS - contains training opportunities and general information about the thirty European countries. The portal is continuously updated by the Euroguidance network. The portal is available at http://ec.europa.eu/ploteus/ and provides you with general information on the countries, the various learning opportunities, education systems and exchange programmes.
